We created lots of pieces and had great fun, chats and laughs along the way.  Here is some of our work.

Our creative cluster journey so far…

As part of the initiative, we decided to look at creating an outdoor classroom so the students could enjoy yearly access to our sensory garden.  We have done great work to date but there is more to come so make sure to stay tuned for further updates!

Happy Retirement to Marian Flanagan

Marian was a long serving and respected member of St Anne’s community who was dedicated and committed to teaching our students and advocating for our school throughout her many years here. We would like to acknowledge Marion’s support, loyalty and professionalism and wish her a healthy, happy and productive retirement.

A sad farewell to Joe Delaney our wonderful woodwork teacher

We would like to congratulate Joe on his new job, and wish him luck in the future. Unfortunately, we will feel his loss, as Joe has been an integral part of our school community, coming up with fabulous projects for the students, even through on-line Covid teaching, and making woodwork techniques and tools accessible to each and every student in the senior classes.

Joe, you are a ‘class’ act!!

October and Halloween

What a busy month!! More Autumn activities, but also a very important event for the town of Roscrea. They played in the County Intermediate Cup, so we made a banner to support them….and they won!!

We had lots of fun activities for Halloween with dressup, a disco, and a visit from the Roscrea Hurlers to show us the Seamus O’Riain Cup. We were very excited!!!!

Dizzy Deliveries: The first kids TV show with Lámh Signs!

We were excited to watch this new show to help us learn about our LAMH signs. The Junior classes all met in the GP room to watch the very first show and practice our signs with each other. Now we meet every Wednesday to watch this series all together.

September and Autumn

Loads of activities from Autumn scavenger hunts, woodwork, music therapy and enjoying the school grounds while the weather was good.
